It’s a good idea to use a dump pouch to hold snacks, water, a phone, or sensitive items. It can do just about anything the military needs when it comes to turning textiles into gear. It doesn’t have every feature, but the ones it does have are excellent. It is great to haveDurability and easy drainage when roughing it. The elastic pull tab shines. You don’t need to open the pouch, just pull it open and let go.
Although it is marketed as a medium, I would consider it to be within the wide load realm. There is not much to say about the pouch. Dump pouches can be used as a trade off. Either you find a lightweight pouch, but it has limited capacity and fragile construction, or you find one with increased capacity, but it is bulky and heavy. The belt works great for qualification trips.

Most pouches fall in the medium sized category. They can handle a wide variety of tasks, and are mostly your do all pouch. Most likely, they will take two or three MOLLE cells on your belt, which is fine, Mag pouch because the convenience it provides largely outweighs the space it takes. If you want to carry a lot of stuff, the wide load classification may be your best bet.

For range days or duty use, the Relyant Solutions Dump Pouch is useful. It can hold whatever you want to throw in it. It can be attached to any of the belts. The pouch can be deployed with only one movement, thanks to the pull tab release system. The hard plastic stiffener in the front of the pouch allows the mouth to pop open for easy access to items. The user can cinch the top of the pouch with the routed elastic shock cord and the tail can be held out of the way with the internal loop tab.
The pouch can be folded and secured using the hook and loop closure. The opening can be adjusted with a pull on the bungee cord. The operator can keep equipment from falling out of the pouch. The pouch’s bottom is made from a mesh fabric that will keep the pouch free of sand, dust and water. The pouch is light.
It is an excellent product and I highly recommend it. The Dump pouch is more versatile than a standard dump pouch. Some belt attachment styles retain the pouch better than others.
You are a pack mule and probably an arsenal carrying a ton of MAGPUL AR (or AK for the more refined ladies out there) mags, and anyone within eyeshot can see it. They roll up, but don’t expect it to fit in your belt line because of the cordura cylinder hanging off your backside. Everyone can use a helping hand from your average mag dump into trash to military people. You wish you had more easily accessible person storage without adding too much bulk.
If you just buy whatever everyone else is selling, you won’t find one that will foot the bill for your mission. Keep in mind that rain, mud, dirt and sand can get into the mesh of this pouch just as easily as it can get out. This thing is large. It is bulky because you can fold it onto itself.
Pouches And Accessories
I would have liked for this to have had some sort of leg retention. The Rex Arms dump pouch would have been awesome. The material for the windbreaker is nice, but I have concerns about its longevity. It is not out of the realm of possibility if you roll on the ground or catch a sharp edge. The dump pouch is the best option for most people.
